We moved into new premises at Club Quarters in Trafalgar Square, situated in the historic Northumberland House
First of all, I would like to welcome you to our new premises by Trafalgar Square do get in touch if you would like a tour of the club premises and meet some of us ...
I hope you find our new website informative and useful. It seems to me appropriate that we enter into the ‘modern world’ in this our 151st anniversary year!
We have added a number of features, which I hope you will find helpful. In addition to the general information about our club, you can now sign up directly on the site to become a member and you can also register for events. Our site can now also process online payment thus we can avoid cheques and cash for those who prefer this.
You will be able to find news and testimonials from some of our members, and we have added a news section, where you can keep up to date with what is happening at the club. The site also features interviews with personalities from the Danish community, where we learn about their lives and careers in the UK.
I hope you will use the site frequently, please do let us know any comments or suggestions you have to the site, along with any ideas for events.
We now welcome our members to contribute by sending in their commentary of events or articles on interesting topics that they may wish to share with the other members. In the section on Sponsorships - you can find sponsorship and donation opportunities.
You will also find a blog featuring members to members offers with short profile piece on the member and her or his business.
Finally, I hope you have all enjoyed the 30th November 2013, where the celebration of our 150th anniversary with a Gala dinner at the Intercontinental Ball Room in central London, attended by our Protector, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, didn't miss on attire & haute couture, swining tunes, elegant dance moves and creation of memories that will stay with us for long . The pictures from the event are now availble in our Gallery section as well as here, where the possbility of purchasing the images is accomodated.
I look forward to seeing you soon in The Club.
On behalf of your Committee,
