Marketing & Events Manager, Danish UK Chamber of Commerce

Now on my second year of membership, I thoroughly enjoy attending events at the Club. The interesting speakers are inspirational and offer insight to contemporary issues. The relatively informal atmosphere at the Club make it the perfect place to socialise/network and staying in touch with the Danish community whilst in London.

I became a member of the Danish club in 2005, because I was introduced to the club by a member and I found it nice to meet other Danish people and expand my network. Also, not to forget the Traditional Danish Christmas Lunch each December.

The club is great from business meetings, family gatherings and just a place to go to when you are in town.

My wish for the future, is getting more new and young members and new activities accordingly. I love the Golf arrangement organised by the club once to twice a year, and I look forward to more business networking events.

I have been a corporate member for about a year. I became a member because I have always believed in creating good networks. And Danish Club is for Stick’n’Sushi a good place to be.
My expectation to the club is organize good quality events!

I use the Naval Club for staying overnight, for meetings and then I participate in the events relevant to us. I have not sponsored any club events yet, but it might come if relevant. But hopefully we can invite for an event when we have opened our new restaurant in Covent Garden this coming Autumn 2013.

The first time I visited the Club was in 1957, a couple of years later my husbond joined, so a great many years.

In those days the clubs' address was Knightsbridge , a great situation and a great place to entertain and meet fellow-members. It's very different now but no less relevant to have and to preserve "The Oldest Foreign Club in London"

I am excited about the new website, which will allow a lot more communication and a lot more on offer.
My husband and I try to come to as many functions as are on offer. Sometimes the Bridge Club, the Golf days, and we like to stay at the Club, a very good location, it's comfortable and very good value, what's not to like ?

There are so many interesting Danes who might come and give a talk about their achievements and I look forward to the next event.

Per Krogh

Founder Krogh & Partners

I became a member of the Danish Club in 1989 when we were setting up our business, chartered accounting company, so 24 years ago.

My expectation to the club is mostly for social events and private networking.
Our club membership also covers members of our staff. We use the club individually – hotel – social events – and dining from time to time.

I look forward to new events accommodating the group between 25-45 years and also events offered outside the present location of the club.

My firm Krogh & Partners have from time to time sponsored events or offered complimentary services to the club over the years.
