'The festival will take place in central London from 4 - 13 December 2015. The Danish films we're screening this year are Samanou Sahlstrøm's IN YOUR ARMS - an excellent new Danish feature which won the Dragon award for Best Nordic Film at Gothenburg, conspiracy drama THE IDEALIST about a US B-52 bomber crash during the Cold War, SUME - THE SOUND OF A REVOLUTION about a Greenlandic rock band who kick-started an independence movement, Michael Madsen's first contact documentary THE

We will also be launching a Dogme95 retrospective from this year's festival with a free event to celebrate 20 years since the birth of the movement. We'll be screening New Danish Screen short NYLON followed by FESTEN and a talk on Danish cinema by Dr Claire Thomson, UCL.'

Golf Day - September 2014

Well the sun shone brightly and a very good day was had by all, despite a few blobs !
I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did and that the journeys home were not too long.

Local to Global Business

From Local to Global Business - Sticks'n'Sushi

The first in the series of event's called  'From Local to Global Business', in which we introduce Danish linked Businesses  that have made it to London and are heading global. The aim is for our members to meet new members and to have informal chats with the founders and getting enlightenment from their experiences.

Yesterday's Event, co-orginized with the Danish UK Chamber of Commerce, was about the experiences that Kim Rahbek, the co founder of Sticks'n'Sushi, made when bringing his business to the UK and now going global.

The event had more than 40 participants, we started out with a welcome drink, a brief introduction to social networking - the essence of the Danish Club by Linda Senya (Danish Club Committee),  followed by a sit down dinner and finally the about 2 hours of one on one's with Kim Rahbek for all the participants.

Keep an eye on the Events calendar, for the next of this sort of events.

See you soon
